While I like to indulge negativity as much as the next guy, I am baffled as to the connection (if any) between these articles and each other or your mood. Is it a post St. You's day comedown?
Ha! Eric, 'Because people are idiots' is my happy-go-lucky-sweetie's favorite response to me any time I'm appalled by someone's behavior. Although I have to say, I think this phrase may have originated with Mike Dore. You have to picture it being said with a big, goofy smile.
Also, Patrick knows that while the rest of the world loves David Chase, I will forever think of him as the man who ruined Northern Exposure. I get it, whimsy isn't his thing...THEN DON'T SIGN UP TO DO A QUIRKY, BELOVED TV SHOW.
I will, however watch just about anything by David Simon and I'm glad that Vulture was smart enough to give him five Lesters. Ease up there, love, the world hasn't gone mad yet.
