Happy Mother's Day to my Momma and all the fabulous mommies out there! (Not to mention all the great aunties who help us stay sane.)
What better place to celebrate Mother's Day than the Renaissance Pleasure Faire!? Here is another terrific Momma, Amy, looking fabu in her cool new costume. Jamie and Felix were pretty adorable too.
First we stopped at a Pirate hat booth. Arrrrr!

After we got all pirated out, we stopped to do a bit of swash buckling. 4 against 1!
Finn was very precise about the whole thing.
For everyone else, it was pretty much a free-for-all.
After a valiant effort, Finn was having trouble, so Jack swooped in to save the day.

Here's our whole motley crew. The kids had a really great time together. Even more fun than last year.

We were off to jousting. Finn got to serve as one of the Queen's guards.
He helped vanquish some dastardly knights, then came running heroically back to cheers from the queen. Way to go Finn! Sadly, our knight was brought down by a sneak attack, but the queen scolded his attacker for his unchivalrous display. I never!

And Jack, up, up and away! (This is maybe the happiest Jack has ever been in his life.)

Awww....what a great post! Thanks for putting all those great photos up, and for getting us back into the Faire spirit. Can't wait for next year...Huzzah!
