Well. Greg and I were sharing a publicist for a time in the 90's. We would bump into each other from time to time and developed an easy banter. Then, during the famous blackout in 1997, we were stuck on an elevator together for two hours. One thing led to another. Naturally, a casual affair developed for six months or so. Eventually I left him for that chick from Velocity Girl. He was bitter. Next year, "66" comes out. He swears up and down in the tabloids that it's not about me, but who's he kidding? I recorded the underground techno hit "Bald Whig Hat" while I was vulnerable and going through rehab. If I could, I would take back some of the things I said in that song about his anatomy. I was a different rabbit then. Time heals all wounds, they say. Mayhap someday we shall lunch again at Spago and laugh.
