We're moving this weekend (again!), so not much time for writing. But here is Douglas Adams at the University of Santa Barbara!! I haven't had time to watch the whole thing yet, so if he goes into a neo-Nazi screed half way through, I apologize.

I wonder what the date is on this speech. It looks like it may have been shortly before his ill-fated run on the treadmill. I have always hoped he had a moment to appreciate the absurdity of his dying on a treadmill in Santa Barbara before he flew off into the universe.
