I thought that this was interesting. A quiz was given to America's elected officials by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. It tests basic knowledge of American civics and politics. Apparently the officials didn't do so well - on average they scored a pretty miserable %44 while the average American citizen scored %49. If you want to try it, you can take it here:

Hey Bro,

I just tuned into the blog and was greeted with one of my favorite Ani DiFranco songs, 31 flavors. I got to see her live a few times, back in my very hairy hippie college days and will always remember it and love that song. Thanks for the reminder.

Cheers,

Sis Amy

p.s. Sorry this has nothing to do with the quiz...I'm sure that's cool as well.

I got 91%. How does this translate into cash for me?

Well...I got 80%. I was freeling pretty good there for a while and then I got into the economic questions. No bloody clue. Do you still love me?
